POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE OF NJ

The Coalition of State PAL's is a partnership formed between New Jersey PAL, California PAL,
Florida PAL and New Mexico PAL. The aim of the partnership was to seek federal funds to
address a problem that plagues all of our states - Gang Activities. Through this partnership, we
were able to receive funding in the 2006 Federal Budget for our Anti-Gang Initiative program. In
New Jersey, we will be funding 6 local PAL chapters for programs and activities, as well as
important educational information, regarding the ills of gang life.

Thank you to all of our New Jersey Legislators who supported
this initiative, on both the House and the Senate sides.

A Special Thanks to Congressman Frank Pallone, who's office spearheaded
our efforts to receive this funding, and to Congressman Steven Rothman who helped
our request make it through the maze of Appropriations Legislation.
